Jacqui Stewart for Commune Bottle Opener

Introducing Jacqui Stewart, a maker and designer from Charlottesville, Virginia. The unique forms in her work tell the story of their making, and the materials will mature and patina to tell the story of their use. These individualistic bottle openers are hand carved one by one and paired with a cast bronze opener cast by a small foundry in CT and finished by hand in her VA studio. These objects of utility are a perfect blend of industrialized craft.
