Chris Kallmyer for Commune Meditation Station Oak

Musician and artist Chris Kallmyer has embarked on a project to redesign the sounds of the home. This piece is made from first growth redwood and a bronze crotale like the Hiroshi Bells. Rung with a bronze bar, generating a bright and clear sound that is fresh and welcoming on the ear. We felt like the perfect accompaniment for this was to add an incense holder. Fitting in perfectly on a shelf or surface, it's a sound to remind you that you're home.

In Chris' words: My favorite pairing is smells and bells - everything you need to be here now. Carved from locally salvaged wood with a vintage crotale and hand made incense holder. Ritual in the everyday.
