Marina Contro for Commune Woven Blanket

We collaborated with San Francisco-based textile artist and designer Marina Contro to bring these blankets to life. Each blanket is woven entirely by hand in her studio in San Francisco. Marina received her MFA in Fiber from Cranbrook Academy of Art and has held residencies at Castello di Potentino, Andrea Zittel's A-Z West, Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio, and Marshfield School of Weaving.
