Shoji Morinaga Indigo Lacquer Bowl

Shoji Morinaga is a craftsman based in Kagoshima, Japan. We've been fortunate to secure small bodies of work from Shoji in the past and these lacquer bowls are an incredibly special contribution to our shop. Made specifically for The Great Commune Shop Experiment last year, we have a small number now available online. These bowls are turned by Shoji before being painstakingly lacquered through a lengthy process by artisans in Japan. Available in Red or Indigo, be sure to choose wisely - or choose both.
