The Long Confidence Candlestick

Introducing The Long Confidence. We’ve been working with Rafi Ajl and his Berkley-based studio for a while now. We’re fans of his work and we’re especially fans of the work we produced together. These candlesticks were born from a study of pure form and clear lines. The original forms used for these castings were hand carved and textured in solid ash, carefully crafted to accentuate the idea of highly polished ridges and blackened recesses. Each one is cast in solid brass and finished with a silver nitrate patina before the edges are meticulously polished. 

Sold individually. Cast in Chicago and hand finished in Berkeley, California.
