Bruce Mitchell Redwood Stool

Introducing Bruce Mitchell for Commune. Bruce's sculptural work is greatly influenced by the carving techniques absorbed from JB Blunk during his early years as an apprentice. The abstract forms he creates range in size from the tabletop to the monumental and we were fortunate enough to acquire the stools offered here. Made from salvaged old growth redwood from Northern California, these stools are rough cut and sculpted by chainsaw before being hand carved and finished.
