Chris Kallmyer for Commune Spinning Doorbell

Musician and artist Chris Kallmyer has embarked on a project to redesign the sounds of the home. This doorbell was inspired by Charles & Ray Eames, and their spinning Oaxacan bell that adorned Case Study House #8.  Kallmyer’s iteration is turned on a lathe in his studio and adorned with bronze bells for a bright and welcoming tone.
