Commune Shobu Gakuen Sakiori Lumbar Pillow

Sourced from a recent visit to Japan, these incredible pillows are made from handwoven Sakiori by artists at Shobu Gakuen in Kagoshima. Sakiori, a traditional Japanese, eco-friendly textile technique that originated in the 18th century, involving tearing worn-out rags (mostly cotton or silk) into thin strips and reweaving them into new, durable fabrics.

Each pillow is one of a kind, backed with a beautiful soft blue twill, have a concealed bottom zipper, and 75/25 down fill.
