Hiba Woodchips

Cul de Sac - JAPON extracts the natural oil from over 250 year-old Aomori Hiba wood waste through water vapor distillation. These wood chips are created with the hope that people will feel the comfort and efficacy of the gentle woodsy scent of hiba. Aomori Hiba was historically used to build Japanese shrines, Buddhist temples, castles, etc. due to its corrosion-inhibiting, industrial strength, antibacterial and insect repelling qualities.
