Kanai Kougei Cochineal Dyed Apron

We have been working with Kanai Kougei for many years on our beautiful Japanese hand dyed kantha blankets. We are excited to introduce a new product, hand dyed aprons. Each apron is carefully dyed by Yuki Kanai at his dye house in Amami Oshima. Using various natural dye ingredients including indigo, mud dye, cochineal and Fukui tree, Kanai mixes these colors to create the range of colors offered in the aprons. Made specifically for The Great Commune Shop Experiment last year, we now have a small number available online.
